About Us "acting in line with the truth of the gospel" Gal 2:14 NIV
As the work of Christ is carried out among the poor and deprived peoples of the world, Hope Village, Inc. realizes that spiritual transformation must often be accompanied by a socio-economic change.
As the primary victims of oppression, women and children living in the forgotten villages of the third world feel unwanted and unworthy of love. Often, they spend their entire lives feeling they have no value. For them to accept Christ means accepting His unconditional love and realizing that in His eyes they do have value. In addition, the cost of becoming Christian is often a total separation from friends, family and any means of support they may have once had.
Working directly with Christian organizations located in each country, Hope Village participates in multiple economic development and empowerment programs. Existing in order to help fund Economic Self-Help and Micro-Finance groups, Community Health and Vocational Training, Hope Village advocates dignity, respect, and basic human rights to all individuals. In short, giving hope where there was none!
Hope Village Marketplace products are produced by the Artists, Craftsmen, and Tailors that have been given a new hope in Christ as well as vocational training and skills for the future. We stand beside and walk with them, showing them a new future, and encouraging them to step out in faith every day.
Quality of Service…Quality of Product…Quality of Life. Each affecting the other, each affecting who we are. Marketplace items are more than quality products… they represent the very quality of life given to those who produce them.
